<Before and after 2 weeks after surgery>
hello!
I had severe malocclusion since I was young, so it was most uncomfortable when I was eating, and I had a lot of noise in my jaw, so I received a lot of consultations at the hospital. I did
I wrote down my feelings from the day of surgery in the form of a memo, and I will share it!
(on the day of surgery)
When I opened my eyes, the surgery was over.
They told me that I couldn't sleep even if I drank water for 8 hours, so I endured it in a half-sleep state. I coughed continuously, and when I coughed, blood came out.
It was very difficult to breathe through my nose.
(Surgery day 1, 2)
I had a cough all night and could hardly sleep. My throat hurt, so it was difficult to breathe and swallow water. Maybe because I was on painkillers, there was no other pain.
(Day 3 of surgery)
I felt comfortable when I came home after being discharged. I was worried that I would cough, but when I came home, it was fine. Except for the sore throat, my face was swollen.
(Surgery Day 7)
I feel like the swelling is going down because I took a walk, steamed it, and ate pumpkin juice diligently.
It's amazing how the chin gets shorter and the face gets smaller.
(Day 14 after surgery)
I came today with the stitches removed. It hurts worse than I thought. I rolled my feet. With the stitches removed, I could eat more, which was a bit of a relief.
Even if it's definitely swollen, when I look at it from the side, my chin is gone, so it feels so good.
(Week 4)
I visited the hospital to check the progress and received treatment for swelling and counseling.
I started to eat jinbap for meals. I need at least steamed eggs and it is easy to eat with soup. I eat soft side dishes with Woju.
I started going to the dentist again.
Other than my family, the first person I saw after surgery is the dentist. They are surprised that my face is shorter. They say that my mouth is wider than other people.
I think I'll buy it because I can start the calibration again and remove the wafer.
The pronunciation is not good because of the wafer. Haha

Week 8!!
In the meantime, I'm doing well without any major inconvenience. I eat everything well except for very tough or hard food.
As I eat soft meat little by little, it seems to come back to my old condition little by little.
And the most amazing thing is that you can cut soft food with your front teeth.
Maybe because of the swelling, my mouth is getting narrower, so it takes a lot of time because I put food in little by little.
Still, I wear a mask hard because of the corona, so it's fortunate that people around me don't know if I've had surgery.
The sensation has not yet returned to the chin, and the rest of the cheeks and upper lip seem to have returned by about 50%.
