On the day of surgery (2022. 2. 17.)
I fasted for the last chicken the day before, arrived through the chilly weather, changed into a surgical suit, washed my face, went into the operating room, inhaled anesthetic gas two or three times, and woke up, and my surgery was complete. On the day of the surgery, I was so distracted that my friend who accompanied me as a guardian felt like a hazy dream. In fact, I asked a friend to watch the surgery cctv, but as I heard later, he said he went to eat Makguksu during the surgery. I was embarrassed and wanted to reprimand him, but my friend, Dr. Lee Seok-jae, is performing surgery. What are you checking? At the word, I hit the forehead again, not being able to hit the chin at that time because it was after the surgery. 
The surgical technique was IVRO, so I couldn't speak because my mouth was tied up, and I still remember struggling with sleep until the evening to get rid of the anesthetic gas. On the first day, the director also came to my room to check on the progress and condition of the surgery. What was impressive was that around 9:00 in the evening, the director said, 'I'm going to leave now.' It was surprising as the company's knife excercise guard, but the director's consideration for the patient after leaving work stopped. Except for the runny nose on the first day, I didn't even have time to feel any pain because my confused and small face was amazing.  

Second day
I was very hungry, so after taking permission to eat, I took 2 new care from the morning. New Care was right in my mouth, so I ate a lot of trouble. On the 2nd day, I felt like I was going to live because I removed all the lines, including the urine line, nose, and mouth. The first day wasn't too difficult, but I was relieved that the director told me that all the hardships had passed. I tried to walk every now and then, and I'm usually on the cold side, but on the second day, the surgical team leader kindly laid a small electric pad and took care of me until dawn without any discomfort. On the first day and the second day, the two surgical team leaders always nursed me with a smile, even though they must have been really tired without sleeping at dawn. In addition, another patient underwent surgery on the second day, and I walked around the hospital while taking a walk. Even if we don't meet face to face, the way he checks on me from time to time made me realize that I am recovering with steady attention and protection at this hospital. 
third day
I went through discharge procedures, received a week's supply of pharmaceuticals, and was discharged. My home was out of the country, so I took a plane and got back in the car and returned home safely. I was worried that it would be okay to board the plane right after the surgery, but it was over. I remember coming home shivering because the weather was cold.   

fourth day
I went to work. My condition wasn't too bad, and the work itself wasn't about facing or communicating with people, so I came to work late and left early. When I checked with the work situation department, I used 2 days of sick leave. The director said that he saw someone who went to work a week after surgery, but I wanted to vomit the fever that I had to go to work after 4 days, but it wasn't the fever, it was my swollen face.>< 

4th day - 1 week
It was about taking medicine. At the end of the first week, the result of taking all the prescribed medicines was better than the intermaxillary fixation. From this time on, the number of waking up in the middle of the night decreased, and for a week, I slept like a ghost, and my nose was pierced. I experienced a week of miracles.  


1-2 weeks and visit

It was my first visit to the hospital after being discharged, so I received swelling care, intermaxillary fixation, and stitch removal for 2 weeks. I felt grateful for the water I drank between my teeth and the small things I could eat with my New Care mouth open. 
I walked for about two hours every day until the 2nd week, and I think it was a period where I could feel my energy recovering as the swelling went down, I ate well and slept well. 


2-4 weeks

It's slower than when the swelling goes down until the 2nd week, but it's the time when you can see the swelling go down.
I feel like I'm missing about 50%. After the intermaxillary fixation was released, I started eating noodles, and I ate all types of tofu except stinky tofu. Soft foods are difficult to crush with the roof of the mouth, or if it is annoying, I grind all of them with a blender. As the breadth of food that can be consumed has widened, physical strength has improved. I lost a lot of weight while fixing my jaw, so I ate enough to prevent the yo-yo from coming back. Rather, it seems to be maintaining a detox life, and it was nice that my body became lighter.


<Surgery result summary>
After the surgery, my family, friends, and co-workers said that I was good, that I was handsome, and even the voice of an idol came out of the woman who served me today. Sooner or later, I'm going to visit that lady's house with my 500 selfies and my hands heavy. In addition, her face has shrunk considerably. My height is 180 in the morning. When she was developing her lower limbs before surgery, she didn't think her proportions were good when she wore flat shoes.

1. Authoring activity
Including soft foods, I eat everything other than fried foods and hard foods. On the first day of orthodontics, the dental director put implants on my molars to make chewing easier because the molars didn't occlude. Since then, I haven't been very obsessed with hard or chewy food. Tolerably, I try to eat food in a pulverized state, and if it is too hard, I try to melt it in my mouth or cook it with heat. Grilled pork belly was not easy, but pork ribs or tender meat were cut and consumed.


2. Appearance
I visited the hospital in the 1st month and took a picture, and the director said that it seemed more swollen than in the 2nd week. If you think about it, it seems that the cheek fat was caused by excessive food intake until the day before the visit. ^_^ There is swelling in the morning, but in the evening it subsides quite a lot. Then, at some point, I have a swollen hope that there will be no swelling. Personally, I think the swelling has subsided by more than half after the second month. When I meet my friends, most of them tell me that I had surgery, but can I tell them whether they have double jaw surgery? Out of curiosity, I tried correcting and losing weight without telling some of my friends, but I was told that I looked younger without knowing something. Other than that, acquaintances who knew the fact that she underwent surgery were amazing. I often hear that I am handsome, and I add confidence to my usual high self-esteem, so I actually leave my humility at home and go out.


3. Exercise
After 4 weeks of surgery, I started doing light exercise with the permission of Dr. Lee Seok-jae.
I usually enjoy the gym, but as soon as it was 4 weeks, I started right away. We are also conducting golf lessons that have been extended. In the case of golf or health, it was good because there was no need to bump into others like other ball games, and since it was not overdoing it, there were no major problems. Rather, it is effective in reducing swelling after sweating after exercise, and I also gained a sense of psychological recovery that I have returned to my daily life.

I found out too late, but I heard that it is not easy to apply for personal insurance, but I also applied for personal expenses, but was rejected.
