진료과목 Double-jaw surgery
제목 Now it's the 4th month of double jaw surgery like my face! Why Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

<Before and immediately after surgery>

I've been worried about a protruding chin for a long time, but after going to several dentists, they say that I can't afford it with orthodontics alone..;;

So this time, I made up my mind and decided to undergo surgery at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

From the first consultation, Dr. Lee Seok-jae explained in an easy-to-understand manner what the problem was and what kind of surgery was needed, and the director was so kind that I felt good about it, and while consulting, I even set a date for the surgery.

On the day of surgery, I think I went into the operating room around 10:30 and came back to the hospital room around 2:30. I was distracted because of the general anesthesia, but I couldn't sleep, so I focused on opening my eyes.. haha

It was very difficult to breathe because of the phlegm and saliva, so I couldn't sleep properly. However, I think I endured because the nurses took good care of me. Even thinking about it now, thank you so much… ;;

The day after the surgery, I got rid of blood pain, urinary tract, etc., and received a laser that said it would help with swelling. And they told me to walk a lot, so I repeated the hospital corridor endlessly. It's swollen, but I'm very impressed that it's not the chin that I've been worrying about...///

I was discharged on the 3rd day after the surgery and I have been diligently following the precautions that the nurse explained to me in advance.

The 5th day was really swollen enough to burst, and the swelling is going down little by little...

I've been waiting for the day to get rid of stitches in my mouth like that

It's already been a month since the surgery.. I think I can live a little longer haha

I had the stitches removed in the 2nd week, but the front jaw hurt so much that tears came out without me knowing..ㅜㅜ

Still, after untangling the stitches, I tried a variety of challenges, focusing on soft ones!

I usually ate porridge or noodles, and as a snack I ate ice cream or castella rolled in milk.

And since I was constantly exercising my mouth, I was able to smile little by little.

When I smiled, the upper teeth came out in front of the lower teeth, and I was amazed and touched that the lower teeth were not visible..

As you can see in the picture, because of my original lower jaw, my lower teeth were in front and I didn't look pretty when I smiled...

I think it's this part that I like the most, and I'm moved by it..ㅜㅜ

The swelling has not gone down yet, and the muscles around the mouth feel sore.

Director Lee Seok-jae said that he would recover gradually, so I will continue to do mouth exercises and keep an eye on him.

At first, after consulting Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I was bothered by whether it was really effective, but it was for nothing..!!

I'm going to start orthodontic treatment soon, but I overcame it safely? I want to take pictures while smiling beautifully!!

It's already been 4 months since I had double jaw surgery.. haha

I've lived my whole life with a small chin, but now I feel like I was born with this face, maybe because I'm used to it.

After visiting several hospitals, I underwent two-jaw surgery + two types of contouring (square jaw, chin tip) at Y Gugang.

The chin muscle still feels sore!

I think that contour surgery is essential to manage until complete recovery!

At first, it was a big care, but as time went by, I felt like I needed more gentle care, so I said I should do a good warm compress, so I'm doing whatever comes to mind.

(I'm thinking of posting and steaming again)

I had braces after surgery and started braces a month after the surgery, but I got used to it after 3 months.

However, when I eat, there are many cases where food gets stuck in my braces without my knowledge, so I ended up carrying a portable toothbrush. It's uncomfortable, but it's not painful or difficult, so I think I'm doing well.

Meals are meat and peanuts, so I eat what I want to eat without any problems, but I think it's a little difficult to tear it off with my front teeth, perhaps because of my braces.

As the weather gets hotter, I eat ice cream from time to time, but I mainly eat it with a spoon and avoid eating things like melona because it is difficult to eat... ㅜㅜ But it's past the time to cut cigars with scissors, so I'm enjoying it without notice. ^_^

I didn't like taking selfies, but if I'm bored, I'll take a picture, so I worked really well with courage!
