hello;)
It has been 3 months since I had two jaw + three types of contour (cheekbone, square chin, front chin) surgery on June 27th!
After 3 months, people around me said that the swelling was almost gone.

<Choose Hospital>
Wai was the first place where I had a foot in western jaw counseling. I went to a total of 4 hospitals and finally decided to go to Y for the first time. Most of all, other hospitals have Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry linked separately, but the biggest reason why I chose Y Goo Goo is that I can see Dr. Seok-Jae Lee and the Director of Orthodontics at the same time, diagnose and receive counseling. In addition, the director and manager who did not talk empty were trustworthy. So, I decided to go to the hospital with Y-gugang and started straightening it right away. It's frustrating when I can't get in touch with the director or manager at the hospital, but Ygugang's contact is really quick and I can communicate right away, so it was great!
<Operation method>
After 6 months of correction, the orthodontist told me that it was an occlusion that could be operated on, so I set a date for surgery. My surgical method was SSRO, and it is said that it is possible to recover more easily after surgery by sliding the chin backwards and fixing it by making an oblique incision on the jaw line to the vicinity of the nerve line. So there was no intermaxillary fixation, so it was easy to breathe. During the maxillary surgery, the entire nasal mucosa is lifted and the nasal septum is touched, so breathing through the nose is not possible because the inside of the nose is swollen. However, there is no one who says that he will die because his nose is blocked and he cannot breathe. Because mouth breathing is enough. As those who have undergone surgery know, even without intermaxillary fixation, I have to hold a wafer in my mouth and breathe only through my swollen nose for a month, which is uncomfortable and difficult, but at least I can eat. However, if I had fixed the jaw, I think I would have gone crazy without being able to eat properly.
<External change>
The chin is tucked in and shortened! So it definitely gave the impression of looking young!! And there is a dent in the cheek, which I think I need to watch more along with the process of swelling. There was copper gym! My swelling is very asymmetrical. So I thought it was really wrong, but it seems like a useless worry and it's going well, so I want to tell those who are going through the same thing don't worry too much and trust the surgeon who performed the surgery and wait a little longer!

<One month difference>
I met the director of the Department of Orthodontics, started the correction again, and was freed from the wafer❣️I threw it away right away! This wretched wafer... Anyway, the correction life has begun again... Still, after a month, I'm used to this swollen face, I eat well, and I'm really happy that I'm doing everything in my life. It's uncomfortable because I feel like my teeth are pushed again because I'm wearing braces, but this kind of pain is nothing to an orthognathic person haha I can tolerate it enough.

<Third month!!>
Still, what I felt in my mouth is that there is still swelling in my mouth!
The swelling definitely seems to go away if you go outside a lot.
If you have undergone orthognathic surgery, please take a walk often even if it is difficult!
By the third month, the teeth are aligned to some extent, so chewing is comfortable.
It's still hard to chew meat, but I can eat foods other than meat freely.
I decided to have two jaws because of the severe asymmetry, but I am very happy that the asymmetry has almost improved after the surgery.
I was very satisfied with the asymmetry improvement, but I like the fact that the chin has been shortened with the contouring, so it seems to have improved a lot aesthetically.
The asymmetrical swelling that was prominent in the first month is now almost symmetrical.
There are a lot of people who have asymmetrical swelling like me after orthognathic surgery, so you must be worried that the surgery is wrong.
Those who have had functional difficulties due to asymmetry and malocclusion will worry a lot about the two jaw surgery.
