It's been six months since my surgery and I'm happy to report that my chewing and sensation have improved significantly.
 Although I'm not great at taking selfies, I've noticed that the swelling has gone down and I've been receiving comments that I look younger.


Recently, I went to a music festival, changed my hairstyle, and took a selfie, and I definitely think I look better than before. I'll be getting my pins out soon, which I'm nervous about since the first surgery was tough, but I'm still planning on leaving a review even after the pins are removed. 
Some people choose not to have the pins removed, but I'm considering it. Overall, the surgery has been a great success and the swelling that concerned me in the first few months has disappeared.


My chewing has also improved, and I no longer feel uncomfortable while eating. Looking back at photos taken before the surgery, I had a protruding mouth and the corners of my mouth were always down even when I closed my mouth. I'm extremely happy with the results of the surgery, and if you're still unsure about having double jaw surgery, I highly recommend doing it sooner rather than later. Dr. LEE is amazing!
