It has been seven months since I underwent double jaw surgery.
Time has flown by so quickly.

Finally, after seven months of contemplating and worrying, I underwent the double jaw surgery that I had been anticipating. 
I have no regrets about choosing WHY Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery among many other hospitals, and I am doing exceptionally well now! :)
It was a big surgery, and initially, I was extremely anxious about the outcome and whether I would regain my sensation. However, after three months, the swelling subsided, and the sensation improved. By five months, I felt like myself again, and by seven months, my bite was aligned, which made me feel much more comfortable and satisfied.
That's my genuine experience, over six months.

Additionally, there is no sagging of the skin, and I recall reading a testimonial that stated that extensive bone movement could cause sagging or double chin later on. 
Fortunately, I am grateful to have almost no sagging of the skin. At WHY, I'm also receiving orthodontic treatment, and my bite has improved, making chewing easier. I am genuinely glad I underwent the surgery because while there were cosmetic changes, there were several challenges due to my malocclusion that I was previously struggling with.

Before the surgery, I always despised the way I looked from the side and was excessively self-conscious about it. Now, I feel more confident no matter who sees me from the side! haha I'm genuinely delighted that my hard jaw has changed, and my bite has improved!
I feel like I'm chewing better now that my bite is aligned!
In summary, at the seven-month mark, my jaw, asymmetry, and malocclusion have all improved, and I am doing well in my everyday life, with no issues with my senses!
