I've had a protruding chin and asymmetry since I was in my teens, but maybe it's because I'm still in the process of growing up, so it's not too bad, and my friends didn't know much about it unless they looked closely. Of course, some of my friends made fun of me, but they didn't care, and I didn't think of myself as having a complex.
However, when I was in my 20s, the growth process was over, and I was in a state where I could clearly see the jugular jaw and asymmetry, which were not too severe. 

After spending close to 10 years like that, I didn't want to be stressed by a protruding chin or asymmetry anymore, and I wanted to get out of the complex, so I looked into surgery. 
While watching various videos on YouTube, I found out what surgeries could improve the chin and asymmetry, and I found out that it can be improved through two-jaw surgery.

When I looked into the two-jaw surgery, it was true that it was a surgery that could definitely improve the sagging chin and asymmetry. 
After thinking about it for about a year, the stress and complex problems came to me as bigger problems than the side effects and cost of surgery, so I decided to undergo two jaw surgery.

I was looking for a hospital where I would receive two jaw surgery, and I came across Yeoya Cafe. Looking at the recent reviews of two jaw surgery, I saw a lot of Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, so there are two Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery where a lot of videos related to orthognathic surgery have been posted here and on YouTube. I went there for a consultation.

I liked both places I was consulted, but I decided to have surgery at Yugugang. The reason why I chose Ygugang was that the hospitalization schedule was 2 nights and 3 days, and the other one was 1 night and 2 days, so I chose Ygugang. This is because I felt that the 2 days and 1 night hospitalization schedule after the surgery was too short. 
I had double jaw surgery + 2 types of contouring. I wanted to receive only western jaw, but through consultation, he said that it would be better if I had 2 types of contours, so I received 2 types of contours together.

on the day of surgery
After the surgery, when you move to the hospital room, the nurse wakes you up, but rather than feeling sick or having trouble breathing, you're really out of your mind. After about 2 hours like that, I came to my senses to some extent, but from this time on, I felt a throbbing pain all over my face, and I felt pain in the area where I had been bitten into my mouth. Still, the pain was tolerable, and breathing was the hardest, but my nose was stuffed up and my airway was stuffed with phlegm, so I couldn't breathe well. It was difficult because the nurses cared a lot, but I was able to endure it. 


2nd day of surgery
I received blood pain removal, urinary tract removal, and swelling care. The nurses tell me that I have to walk around the hospital now, but I couldn't walk for a long time because I was so dizzy and sick to my stomach after I got up and walked a little bit.
I remember walking for 1 minute, resting for 5 minutes, and doing this about 10 times, but it was too difficult for me to do this.


3rd day of surgery
I received treatment for swelling, took X-rays, and consulted with Dr. Lee Seok-jae before being discharged. When I was discharged from the hospital, I honestly wondered if it would be okay to go on like this.... I was discharged.
Until I went home, the swelling was the same, but the swelling suddenly got worse in the evening, and the whole face was craving, and the upper chin area was painful because it was painful. 


7th day after surgery / First visit after surgery
The swelling that had been discharged from the hospital was the same, and the numbness of the face and the tingling pain in the upper jaw were similar. 
Swelling control was treated with pumpkin juice (2-3 a day), a walk (30-40 minutes because walking makes me dizzy), and warm compresses.
I came to the hospital and had swelling care and mouth disinfection.  


14th day of surgery / 2nd visit after surgery

There was no progress in the swelling, but from the 10th day, it gradually disappeared. Not as much as the first time, but still tingling and tingling in the face.
Swelling control was treated with pumpkin juice (2-3 per day), a walk (about an hour after walking for a long time from the 8th day onwards), and warm compresses. 
I visited the hospital to take care of the swelling and remove the stitches, but the other parts were sore, but the authentication part and the chin part were very painful.


And it's finally week 8!!

First of all, if I tell you the current situation, it is not difficult to move for a long time from about the 6th week, so I go to work in the provinces and meet friends.
Before the surgery, I weighed about 73 kg, but now I weigh about 63 kg. I still feel uncomfortable with food intake, so I don't think I'm going back to my pre-surgery weight, but when I can eat all the food I want to eat, I think I'll go back to my old weight again!
And I often hear that I look sharp before surgery, but I often hear that I look mild after surgery. Personally, I like it. Haha And I tend to hear that my face has gotten smaller.
 
When I eat, it's much better than the first time, but I still have pain. It's a bit of a concern, but looking at other people's reviews of two jaw surgery, they said that after about 8 weeks, they don't know about hard food, but soft food is okay. Even when I eat soft food, I have some pain. 
I think it might be because of the correction, but I would like to ask Dr. Lee Seok-jae, who operated at the next clinic. 
I worked hard on both jaw and swelling management in my own way, and the swelling went down a lot, probably because of the passage of time. 
But I still don't like it, and I don't feel like it's gone, so I keep managing the swelling, but I can't see any visible change.
 It's only been 8 weeks and it's still greedy, but compared to other people, there's no swelling, but there's swelling on the cheeks, so it looks like an asymmetry, but I think there are small changes every day that only I know about! I continue to do bookkeeping management and watch as time will solve it.

As for satisfaction, it seems that the sagging chin and asymmetry have improved a lot, so I am satisfied so far. It would be more satisfying if the swelling goes down without major side effects and it changes more naturally.
Oh, and maybe it's because of the missing chin, is it because of my own mood that my nose looks taller when viewed from the side?
Two-jaw surgery is more difficult than other surgeries, but if you have a strong treatment goal like me, you can see dramatic effects right after the surgery, so I'm really satisfied.
