It doesn't look like a severe protrusion, but when I smile, my gums show too much, and when I take a picture from the side, I feel like a native with a slight protrusion. So, I finally did Western music, a long-cherished wish.

Of course, I thought about orthodontic treatment, but I had relatively even teeth, but since it was a case where the upper gum bone came out, they said that both sides were correct.First of all, the fact that Director Lee Seok-jae of Y Goo Gang is doing both dentistry and oral surgery, and that he will take care of you from the start of surgery to the end of orthodontic treatment, was the most trustworthy and decisive reason for choosing the hospital. (Among Plastic Surgery vs. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery)
Thankfully, even though he was busy, he made it as convenient as possible for me on the date of surgery.

on the day of surgery
Without fear or guardians, I just went to the dentist to get my wisdom teeth out. I didn't know then.. what kind of day it would be.. lol
After having another interview with the director and explaining how the surgery would be performed, I took a 10-minute break before going into surgery. With the nurse teachers, it was progressing quickly and quickly. I fell asleep while exchanging greetings with the anesthesia director and getting an injection. The warm touch of the nurse who reassured me and held my hand was my last memory. How desperately that hand was at that moment.. It was tightly clenched..
I woke up to the sound of "Patient!! Wake up!! Wake up!! You can't sleep!!" I still can't remember, did I walk out to the hospital room at that time or was in the hospital room when I woke up... I remember being in a daze. This fizzle. All I remember is that I was sitting on the bed with my upper body up and a soft neck pillow. There were two blood bags, a urine line, and an injection. In front of my eyes, only the smoke from the humidifier was coming up, but I was so sleepy that it was hard to keep my eyes open.
Then, after a while, the director came and explained that the surgery went well and that tonight would be the most difficult, kindly comforting and encouraging me.
But that night was really the hardest night, I couldn't breathe through my nose, and I had to breathe deeply, but when I took a deep breath, I kept coughing.
If I hadn't met the angelic on-duty nurse that day, it would have been really difficult~ He came every hour to look at my condition and put phlegm in my mouth. You guide me and take care of me calmly and kindly. I thought you were a real nurse...
After such a stormy night, morning came. In the morning, the nurse came again, removed the urine line and blood bag, brought New Care and gargle solution, and explained in detail how to gargle.
the day after surgery
The next day seems to have been a war against swelling. After taking out the urine line and blood bag, I moved my body little by little, but it felt a little light, but I felt a sense of heat in my face that was swelling like it was going to burst, so I had to change ice packs frequently ~ Almost every two hours, lukewarm. I should have gone to the nurse's office to replace it because it was worn out. Maybe it's because I asked for it too often, but later they put 3 of them in the refrigerator before leaving.
The director came for rounds, looked at the wafer occlusion once more, and said that it was okay to have patients in the lobby, so he told me to come out from time to time and walk slowly.
Second day
I was discharged after listening to the discharge explanation except for the intravenous fluid injection. "Ahhh" "Yes??" "Uh eeeeeeeeee" "Ah~ yes... I understand.."" He said, but it was so funny that I had a hard time holding back my laughter. I couldn't pronounce it because of the wafer. It took me about an hour to get home, but it took me about an hour. I don't think there was any problem~ There was no pain than I thought. Instead, I continued to apply ice packs diligently after I got home that day.
When I got home, I sat down and slept on the triangular cushion and neck pillow I had ordered in advance. Every time I exercised walking, the blood that had accumulated inside came out.
From the 5th day onwards, I was so frustrated that I didn't do it well, but instead, I always wore it when walking or moving.

On the first outpatient day, I went to see the director and sterilized it, but luckily he said there was no inflammation~ I was so scared when I heard that inflammation would be very painful and surgery could be done again~ Now I'm tired of New Care, so I'm drinking different fruits~ Watermelon, tomato, or banana juice I drink it, but it's definitely more refreshing than New Care, so it goes well.
Thanks to you, I've already lost 6 kg of weight~ I also gave up coffee, which I used to drink at least two cups a day~ These days, I don't think about coffee at all ^^ I'm working harder to avoid sagging and I'm trying to lose 4 kg more here~ Bonnie, I don't have much pain these days, and I'm used to wafers a lot~ I've been watching a movie today too haha
There are times when the gums pass by once in a while, but the feeling seems to come back.

Two weeks later, I went to see the second doctor. I finally got the stitches out~ I heard a lot about it being painful, but I was very scared even before it started. He carefully cuts the threads one by one from the inside, and tears well up in my eyes without even realizing it. It is. It was over sooner than I thought, but I must have been too scared for no reason.
The changed face is still a little awkward, but I'm getting used to it as I watch the swelling go down. I realized how great the happiness is from chewing it. I hope the day to eat pork belly wrapped in wraps will come soon.
