<Before surgery>
First of all, I have had malocclusion and a protruding chin since I was young.
I was teased a lot during my school days and my self-esteem was low.
So I always thought that I had to do it someday.
My parents gave me braces when I was in high school, and my occlusion returned to normal.
Because there was no change in the bones, the jutting chin was still the same.
Rather than living my life like this with stress and low self-esteem, I really wanted to live my second life with courage!
I looked into several hospitals, but the reason I chose Y Oral was because I trusted that it was a hospital specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
I watched a lot of Director Seokjae Lee's YouTube videos and I felt even more trustworthy.
The counseling director was also very kind, and I felt that he was very attentive and informed me in detail about everything I was curious about!!
So, I ended up having double jaw surgery and square jaw surgery!!

<Week 2>
And the time that I thought would never go away has passed and two weeks have passed haha.
It's the 2nd week and there's still a lot of swelling, but I can feel it going down as each day goes by!!
These days, I really feel the saying that time is medicine!!
I couldn't eat for a week after the surgery, so I lost 3kg, but now I'm eating porridge and soft foods with ease.
Every time I look in the mirror, do I feel the same ferocity I used to have? I'm so glad that that impression has disappeared and I've become more mellow.
And since my profile is flat, the cap didn't really suit me, but now that my profile has volume, it's really nice that the hat suits me well!!

<Week 4>
Now, I have no problems with my daily life and am happy to look in the mirror every day.
It's been a month and it still doesn't feel like my own skin and itches when I touch it, but I can feel my senses coming back little by little, so I'm not really worried!
That's because the swelling that seemed like it wouldn't go away has gone down a lot as the month has passed. All the major swelling has gone down.
Now I wear makeup and people who see me for the first time don't know I had surgery haha.
I can see that much has changed, so I think time is medicine!
And my friends tell me that I have become much prettier, and most of all, I am very satisfied that my expression has become gentler and more feminine.
I feel so happy when I look in the mirror!!
My self-esteem has increased a lot, and I felt a lot more confident, even though I wasn't confident. Haha.
And I eat really well too!!
I eat a lot of soft foods, like ramen or a grain of rice!
Meals tend to take a lot of time in my mouth, so I prefer desserts.
I'm still thankful and happy that I can eat it .

<2nd month>
2 022 was a special and meaningful year that brought many changes to me.
Now that it's been two months, when I think about the first day of surgery, I remember the difficult times.
Now I am really satisfied and living well haha.
What should I do if the swelling doesn't go down for about a month after surgery? I tend to go down slowly.
I used to worry a lot, but now I think I've lost almost 80% of it, and all my senses have come back!
Really amazing,,
As someone who has a job where I meet people, my self-esteem has increased a lot!!
I can focus on my work without worrying about what others think of me.
I received various compliments from people around me saying that my impression has improved and that I look younger haha.
In terms of eating, I started off with soft foods after the surgery and now I can actually eat everything.
Still, I chew meat gently and eat it slowly and carefully for a long time haha.
There are probably many people who are worried because double jaw surgery is a major surgery, but rather than just thinking about it,
I think the mindset to take on challenges is more important. I have no regrets about my choice and am very satisfied.
I am just grateful to Director Waigugang and the nurses who made the surgery safe!!

<3rd month>
It seems like it was just yesterday that I had the surgery, but three months have passed.
I only had a hard time for 1-2 weeks, but after that I had a good time.
I had a lot of worries because it was a major surgery, but I think I did a really good job.
After 3 months, I am eating all the delicious food without any restrictions.
I thought the swelling had gone down a lot at 2 months, but after 3 months, it went down even more!!
My face has definitely become slimmer and prettier! If you don't tell anyone, no one will know!!
I wore a cap and heard that it looked good on me and that I had a small face .
I'm so satisfied and good.
I really think I did a good job at Waigugang. They let me know everything I was curious about and looked at me in detail.
I'm going to check on my 3 month progress next week and I'm so excited haha Worrying only slows down time. It's a good thing I did this when I was at least a year younger.

<6th month>
I almost forgot that I had surgery, so it’s amazing that 6 months have passed.
Let me tell you a review: my life changed a lot before and after double jaw surgery!!
Things I used to want to be like that have now become daily routine. For example, masks have been lifted these days, right?
So even if I went around without a hat or a mask, I didn't care about my profile, and without bangs, my face looked too long
Now I have a lot of time to get rid of it .
My image has become younger, my look has become gentler, and people who meet me for the first time tell me I look pretty without even knowing I had surgery, and it's amazing that I look younger than my age!!
I think my impression has changed a lot. When it comes to eating, I can now eat everything just like before the surgery, regardless of whether it's meat or something hard. Haha.
I can open my mouth wider and all the swelling seems to have gone down. My face has become slimmer thanks to the square jaw and front chin!!
Sometimes, when I pass by Nonhyeon Station on the bus for work, I see the WHY Oral&maxillofacial Sergery and I look at it wistfully and happily.
Isn’t that what they look at when they pass by the WHY hospital where I had the surgery?
Anyway, the surgery went really well .
