<before surgery>
When I was young, I didn't know what malocclusion was, and as I grew up, I never really experienced being teased or bullied,
so I didn't have stress about my look.
However, eating was always uncomfortable for me. I had indigestion, and it was difficult to bite into things with my front teeth.
Since I started working, I was advised to get orthodontic treatment, and whenever I had time, I looked into several dental clinics.
However, whenever I went for a consultation, all the dentists recommended double jaw surgery. They said that I couldn't fix my
jaw just with orthodontic treatments..
So, while I was looking into it, I found this clinic that could do both orthodontics and surgery.
I immediately scheduled a consultation.
When I first entered the clinic, the doctor's YouTube video was playing on the wall, which made me trust
them more. The manager was very kind, and it was good that they clearly explained what could and couldn't be done.
Then I had a consultation with the doctor, and they said that I would look much prettier after the surgery, so I was looking forward to how I would look later.
So, on that same day, I decided to have orthodontic treatment ,double jaw surgery, and two types of face contouring.
*In my case, I had orthodontic treatment for a little over 7 months before the surgery.

So, it's already been 3 months since I had double jaw surgery, and compared to the first month,
everything, including eating and chewing, has become much easier in my daily life. I can eat whatever I want without any difficulty, but I've been cautious
about chewing on both sides as I used to have a habit of chewing mostly on the right side even before the surgery.
The swelling in my chin, which took the longest to go down, has also decreased significantly, to the point
where if I don't mention it, people wouldn't even know I had surgery!

Moreover, my friends have been telling me that the swelling has significantly reduced compared to the first month.
When I looked at the photos, I could really see the big difference, haha.
Even acquaintances who haven't seen me in a long time have been saying that my face has gotten much
smaller, and they didn't even realize I had surgery because there's no sagging.
It made me think, "I should have done this sooner, why did I hesitate?"
The best part is that now I can apply lipstick and smush my lips,, which I couldn't do before the surgery.
It's amazing how much has changed in just 3 months!
Looking back at the pre-surgery photos, I'm really starting to wonder if that was really my face.

I don't have any discomfort, but there's still a slight swelling in my lower jaw.
Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the noticeable reduction in the size of my face, and I'm curious and excited about how I'll
look after six months.
