I used to feel self-conscious about my facial features, particularly my long and tiny chin and slightly protruding mouth. Then, a friend recommended Dr. Lee at WHY for facial bone contouring surgery, so I decided to schedule a consultation. During the talk, Dr. Lee showed empathy and detailed medical advice, which left me optimistic about the surgery. The day after the surgery, I took the picture posted below. Post-Surgery Review: Week 1 Review Before the surgery, I expressed my desire to shorten my chin and bring it forward. The surgery lasted for just over two hours, and, as expected, there was some pain and soreness in the first few days. However, the nurse on call was exceptional and made my recovery more comfortable. Dr. Lee assured me that the swelling would subside in a few days, and while it's still present in the picture, my face is visibly smaller. Despite difficulty eating hard foods, the recovery process is proceeding as expected, and I will leave another review once the swelling is gone. Week 2 Review: During the second week, I went back to the hospital to have the stitches removed. The process was uncomfortable, particularly around the front of my chin, but it was still manageable. In addition, the swelling had subsided considerably, and my face had a more refined appearance, particularly from the side. Week 4 Review: At four weeks, the swelling is almost gone, with some remaining under my chin. Dr. Lee assures me that it will continue to improve with time, and my overall facial shape has become slimmer and more refined. While there's still some puffiness at the tip of my chin, I'm confident it will dissipate soon. Week 6 Review: It's been six weeks since the surgery, and I'm thrilled with the results. My jawline looks excellent, and my lipline has become more defined. In addition, people have commented that my overall impression is much more refined, which significantly boosts my confidence. Although there's still some puffiness at the tip of my chin, it's gradually subsiding, and I'm enjoying retaking selfies.
