Hello~ I had a malocclusion, so whenever I looked at my profile, I had a complex. But I was too scared and didn't have the courage, so I put it off for several years and decided to do it this time. While I was living in Incheon and starting orthodontics first, the director of Orthodontics told me to go to a hospital in Gangnam, and while I was looking for it, I found Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on YouTube or the Internet. We went together. Before the consultation, I had a CT scan and had a consultation with the manager. It was so nice that he kindly informed me and answered all my questions! I didn't know anything lol After that, I had a consultation with the director, and he told me what kind of surgery method could be performed, and it was so good that the guardian could see it during the surgery, and I thought I could trust it, so I decided to come here~!!
So, I decided on double jaw surgery, square jaw, and front jaw surgery!

<Surgery Day>
I was told not to eat anything or water from 8 hours the day before, so I endured even though I was thirsty! Finally, the day of the operation.. I was so shivering all the way to the hospital that my mother next to her told me not to be too nervous and I was more nervous. As soon as I arrived, I was shown to the hospital room, unpacked, changed into hospital clothes, came out, talked to my mother, and then went into the operating room. I asked, but he wasn't crazy. I keep falling asleep, but I want to sleep, but I can't sleep for 8 hours, and the anesthetic gas has to come out of my body, so my mom keeps waking me up next to me!!
<First day after surgery>
It was difficult to breathe because my nose and throat kept hurting at dawn, and the nurse kept calling me, giving me suction and giving me suction, making it difficult to breathe, hurting, and bothering me. I did. And the nurse said that it is not good if you continue to use suction because it will make you swollen. So when I couldn't stand it until I could bear it, I asked for it once ㅠㅠ And finally!! It was the day to remove the urine line and blood bag~~ I felt so relieved to remove this one! When removing the blood pocket, the director did it for me. I felt a little uncomfortable, but it didn't hurt! The director and nurse sister are now walking and moving is good for swelling, so I tried to walk even though it was hard! I wandered around the hospital. I think I slept for 2 hours on this day. I always had trouble breathing so I stayed awake.
<Day 2 after surgery-discharge>
It's finally discharge day!! I had severe blood vessel pain, so it hurt so much. And before the director looked at it, I went to do the swelling care first~ I think I slept for 30 minutes because you turned off the lights! I slept well! Is it more comfortable than a bed? After that, I slowly packed my bags and waited for the director to prepare for discharge. My boyfriend came to pick me up, but he said it was amazing that I had a hard time hahaha I came home after getting a prescription for medicine and was hungry so I slowly ate a protein drink and ate one pumpkin juice~ I take medicine, but why is it so hard to take medicine... And take a walk i did it! The swelling goes down quickly! The day passed just like that

<3rd to 8th day after surgery>
I keep eating protein drinks + pumpkin juice. Even if it's hard, I go out for a walk for 30 minutes or an hour a day.
I've been doing cold packs and bandanas for an hour, resting for 30 minutes, and then for an hour! I hope the swelling goes down quickly.
From the 5th day onwards, the instruction manual said to switch to warm rather than cold compresses, so I switched to warm compresses. The swelling started to subside on the 7th day. I could see it! I'm so excited ~ The inside of my nose is starting to become more and more pierced, so I can breathe comfortably. I'm thrilled..!!!

<Postoperative day 9-1st week visit>
I visited the hospital for the first week after a week or so! It's already time like this~ After arriving at the hospital, I did swelling care first before seeing the director. Then, the director sterilized me, but I felt sick because it was inconvenient to sterilize. Baryo I was so embarrassed.. haha I think I need to work harder with more care. I asked if it was inflamed, but fortunately, he said there was no inflammation, so I'm glad the first week of hospital treatment was over!

<Day 10~14 after surgery>
After going to the hospital, I was so happy that now I can brush my teeth and take away wafers! From the beginning, I couldn't use an adult toothbrush, so I brushed my teeth with a baby toothbrush. It was so cool and refreshing!!! When I only gargled, I felt so uncomfortable because I had braces hahaha Now, when I eat or brush my teeth, I take out the wafer and eat and then brush my teeth. Other times, I always wear a wafer just in case.
ah! And I got tired of eating only protein, so I bought bamboo shoots and bought the famous castella with milk and ate it! It was so delicious. I wonder if this was originally this delicious, I worked really hard on the Ttaengmi band, took a walk hard, and applied warm compresses. I could see the swelling going down. I said it was cute because it was like that hahaha I also thought it would be nice if the cheeks would stop falling out here too. It's so thin.. haha Finally tomorrow is stitch removal day!

<Visit 2nd week after surgery>
Today is stitch removal day.. I was nervous because I saw so many reviews saying it hurt. She and her mother made an appointment at 10 o'clock and visited the hospital by 10 o'clock. Then the director came to finally remove her stitches. When I removed the stitches on the cheek, I thought "what's wrong", but it turned out to be a big mistake. It hurt. I removed the stitches and wiped my tears with a tissue. There is a convex part under the right chin that can be clearly touched. Is the pin wrong or the surgery gone wrong? What did I do wrong? When I asked the director, he said that it wasn't that the pin was wrong, but that he had surgery on the tip of the chin, and that the bone was not in place, so he was touching it. You must believe it! I went to the hospital like that~ There is still a lot of swelling left, so I can see my face like an asymmetry, but I'm going to keep an eye on it!! To all of you who are in the middle of the day, cheer up together!!

Week 3 Review
It's already been 3 weeks since I take a warm compress and go for a walk every day. These days, porridge is so cold that I eat raw rice and fish meat instead of porridge. They seem to try to eat almost anything they can swallow. Otto is also easy to eat!
You can eat home run ball snacks by melting them with your tongue. And A.O. I'm working hard on the mouth exercise too~

Week 4 Review
Wow, it's finally been a month!! I was really waiting ㅠㅠ I went to the hospital today.
At the hospital, I first did boogie care, took a picture of the bones, and waited for the director's consultation, and the director came right away and looked at the condition!!
The swelling on the face seems to be 4-50%, and he showed me a picture from 2 weeks ago, but the swelling went down even more. lol
And he asked if he had any questions, so he seemed to have a bit of asymmetry, so he asked, and food was the most important thing, so he asked if he could chew food.
I was really moved by the fact that you can chew! Except for the hard or chewy ones, I try to cut them as much as possible and eat them! I had the surgery while I was already undergoing orthodontic treatment at another place, so I was told to wear a wafer until I received orthodontic treatment at the original orthodontic place.
overall impression
It's been over 4 weeks since I underwent surgery at Waigugang!
I think two-jaw surgery is definitely the best for sagging jaw and malocclusion!
No matter how much correction is made, the root cause cannot be resolved.
It is the most difficult surgery, so I am most satisfied and proud!
I feel the most comfortable that my impression has changed the most :)
Fighting for you too, and if you have any questions, please comment!
