제목 Long face two-jaw surgery challenge successful in mid-30s! Why Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

<Before surgery>

<After surgery>

hello~

This is the 1st month after the two-jaw + two types of contour (square chin front chin) surgery at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

I had been thinking about orthognathic surgery since I was in my 20s, but it wasn’t until my mid-30s that I decided to have the surgery.

I really wanted to do it, but it was a big surgery and it was a burden in terms of cost.

I have been under stress due to my long face and facial asymmetry, and I rarely take selfies or go out to play. If we are going to take a picture together, it is enough to correct it with a correction application.. I usually cover my face with my hand. Only the eyes and nose came out.. haha I felt a bit shrunk and lost my confidence. I really wanted to fulfill my wish before it was too late. As it was a major surgery, I searched a lot on the Internet, looked up which hospital and which doctor was good at it, and went to several consultations, but I finally decided on Y-Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Even during the consultation, he carefully looked at it and explained it, and CEO Lee Seok-jae said that he only performs one surgery a day, so if I get surgery, that day

I thought that you would only focus on me.

From my point of view, it seems to have played a big part in my choice... and I was impressed by the fact that he is the second generation of oral and maxillofacial surgery. I had a long mid-angle and a long lower face, so I underwent double jaw + 2 types of contouring. When I went to the hospital on the day of the surgery, I started to realize that I was having a real surgery.

It was half fear and half excitement.. After surgery, it was difficult to eat for a while, so I ate a lot of delicious food, and I was in good shape on the day of surgery.

An anesthesiologist was always there, so I was less worried about anesthesia. I was a little nervous because it was under general anesthesia, but I fell asleep and woke up to see that the surgery was over. I was still awake, but I was relieved to wake up from anesthesia after the surgery.

I was worried about what to do if I didn't wake up.. My family was very worried as it was a major surgery.

I took a deep breath and tried to get rid of the anesthetic gas.

And because there was no intermaxillary fixation, breathing was not uncomfortable at all.

Reviews on the internet said that it was really hard to breathe after surgery, but I didn't have a hard time breathing. My nose was blocked, but it was fine because I breathed through my mouth.

The director said that the first day after surgery was the hardest, but the first day was difficult.

It's a bone-shaving surgery, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't hard. But it wasn't to the point of writhing in pain, it was stiff and throbbing...and swollen...there was pain, but it was tolerable.

While I was hospitalized, I hardly took any personal items with me... I only took extra underwear and a charger. There were things I needed after surgery in the single-person hospitalization room, so I didn't have to bring anything.

After the hard first day, the second day was much better.

I walked back and forth in the hallway, unplugged the urine line, and went to the bathroom by myself without difficulty.

Thank you for taking care of me 24 hours while I was in the hospital and caring enough to be really sorry.

The director also stopped by every day to check on the condition, and I felt relieved.

I was hospitalized for 2 nights and 3 days, and I was discharged in the morning and I was going home, and I was proud of something, thinking that I would like to take good care of myself in the future and pass the time quickly.

I couldn't wash for 3 days, but when I went home, my sister washed it for me and it was very refreshing haha

After surgery, I mainly ate a high-protein, nutritious meal called Mediwell, and I tried and ate very thin porridge from about 2 weeks later. When it was about 3 weeks old, it was possible to eat thin noodles like noodles, and rice was possible, but it was not enough to chew.

However, I tried and ate a lot of food that I thought I could eat because I was so hungry. I even ate it with gratitude.

After about a month, the swelling subsided and I could see little changes, but I kept looking in the mirror. I can't wait to see what happens in two months and three months! I will come back to write another review with a happy heart because I have been taking good care of it.
