Hello!
This is a one-year review of double jaw surgery ａnｄ two contouring procedures (square jaw, chin plasty) at WHY.
<Before Surgery>
Since I was young, I've had a misalignment issue with my lips ａnｄ jaw due to malocclusion.
However, it wasn't extremely noticeable when speaking ｏｒ smiling, ａnｄ I had never even considered jaw surgery before.
But around August last year, my temporomandibular joint (TMJ) condition deteriorated rapidly. I was in so much pain that I couldn't even chew soft rice, ａnｄ my jaw would often dislocate. It was really unbearable.
I urgently visited several oral ａnｄ maxillofacial surgery clinics ａnｄ dental clinics, they all said I needed jaw surgery.
My mom recommended WHY oral maxillofacial surgery through YouTube, so I decided to go there. the first impression of the doctor was like..he’s got this unique sternness? It was quite intimidating when he was being straightforward haha.
Nevertheless, I developed trust ａnｄ decided to have the surgery at WHY clinic.
Since the director said my face couldn't dramatically get smaller, I didn't have high expectations. (Usually, people become to have small face ａnｄ prettier after jaw surgery, haha)
I just hoped for improvement in my TMJ condition ａnｄ misaligned lips.
 
Exactly one year ago around this time, I had the surgery, ａnｄ already a year has passed. It's amazing!
Back then, time really seemed to drag on, ａnｄ I was worried every day about when the swelling would go down 
Finally, I saw the director for the one-year follow-up, ａnｄ he said the bones have fused very well!
Now I'm diligently undergoing orthodontic treatment, ａnｄ other than the discomfort of the treatment not being finished yet ａnｄ the misalignment, everything else is fine!
The residual swelling has almost disappeared, ａnｄ now I eat well, so it's not swelling anymore, just my chubby cheeks haha.
Looking back now that I'm thirty, I regret not doing it even a year earlier when I was younger
